Report by Daniel Mortlock:
A comfortable win for FAS which could presumably have been positively luxurious if our hyphenated opening pair of Will T-B (78*) and Toby S-C (74*) had had "gone on with it". But, having taken us to the dizzying heights of 182/0 after just 27 overs they both retired - not hurt, but "pissed from last night" and with "sunstroke" respectively. Tom Hall (12*) and James Adams (6) took our four-man opening partnerhip to 189, the second-highest ever for FAS, before we declared on 207/1.
Longnicote made a reasonable fist of their chase, reaching 107/3 after 23 overs, at which point it was realised that we'd made the mistake of using bowlers with boring single surnames. Toby S-C thus took over, taking 6/14 from his 9.2 overs to almost single-handedly - he also took two catches - dismiss Sezinborough for 170, in the process completing what, at least in statistical terms, was the second-greatest all-round performance for FAS. (Not a bad debut effort - just a pity he only played once more for FAS.)
