Not Bibury CC's finest hour: that they couldn't get a team together was frustrating, but an issue familiar to all cricket club organisers; but that they first alerted to this only an hour before the nominal start time was pretty poor - some of the more punctual tourists had already made it to the ground by the time the news came through.
