Fathers And Sprogs Cricket Club

The Fathers And Sprogs Cricket Club (FAS CC) was formed in 1982 as Fathers And Sons CC by Baz Dare, with the aim giving parents and their children the opportunity of playing cricket together; and whilst there continues to be a strong family thread running through the club's activities, such links are by no means compulsory. The strength of the fixtures varies enormously, meaning players of all standards can be accommodated: our members range from former professionals to teenagers getting their first taste of adult cricket.

The club headquarters are the Gloucestershire home of the Dare family, and fixtures are arranged with clubs and village teams in Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire, as well as other touring teams, during a concentrated tour each July. We strive to have fixtures for one or two teams on each day of the tour, with an end-of-tour dinner after the final match.

On this web-site you will find a smattering of the above history, including records, as well as more practical information like contact details and information on this year's tour.
